Spring Fling 5K run and One Mile Fitness Walk.
The Spring Fling 5K race is a great race for beginners to intermediate runners. It winds through an established neighborhood in Leesburg, FL and takes you down along ski beach. There are no hills and it is a pretty flat course, but the views over the water are spectacular.
The race begins at 8am. Registration can also be done the day of the event for $25. The first 125 pre-registered runners will be guaranteed a race shirt. We cannot guarantee shirts will be available for day of event registration. Pre-registered runners can pick up their shirts and race bibs starting at 6:30am. To ensure you receive the size shirt you requested, please plan to arrive early. Timing will be handled by Milestone Race Authority. There are 14 age groups for male and female runners. The top three finishers in each age group will receive a medal. Special prizes are awarded to the Overall male and female winners as well. Fruit, bagels, and plenty of water will be provided. There will also be a randon drawing for some door prizes at the event.
